Paget Peak

Dist: 9.9km    Elev: 965m    Summit: 8400'    Time: 3.5h    Difficulty: 3/5

Another smoky summer summit. Byron and I made excellent time, grinding away with few visual distractions to slow us down. The lookout and summit ridge were interesting enough to explore, but unfortunately views of the surrounding Yoho scenery were virtually nonexistent. Always great getting out with a buddy, and I think I'll return one day for the full Paget Peak experience.

Trail once we cleared the trees.

Paget Lookout.

Views from inside. Not much to see from that bench today.

Paget Peak from the lookout.

Paget lookout and peak.

Grinding towards the summit.

That's where we're headed.

Summit ridge.

Summit panorama and register.

Byron records our visit.

Memorial attached to the summit cairn. "Be The Best"

Always worth a summit shot.

Byron exploring the ridge.

Views as we begin the descent.
