Low air quality paired with high enthusiasm led the Stephenson clan to the Sulphur Mountain gondola trail during our week of staycation. Melinda suggested the route, rightly expecting Ivy to relish the opportunity for people-watching and stretching her little legs at the summit observation deck. As expected, views were virtually nil but we all got a great workout and enjoyed some quality time and family adventuring. Ivy even had her first hiking backpack nap! An excellent day all around, hiking a new trail with my favorite people and watching Ivy's developing sense of curiosity and adventure.
