After a crazy work week Melinda and I decided to get away from the city for some time together in the great outdoors. Not wanting anything too ambitious, we decided to check out Ptarmigan Cirque due to it's reputation for beautiful scenery and a low physical price of admission. The trail began by crossing Highway 40, followed by a steep climb through forest to reach the snowy cirque. Rewarding views awaited us at the top and we enjoyed the scenic and relatively flat loop in surprising solitude given the pleasant weather. This was a very quick half-day outing and perfect for our needs today. As always, it was great to get out with Minders!

Stunning pics! What camera are you using?
ReplyDeleteI wish I knew who to thank for such kind words. These pictures were taken with a Sony RX100, which I have been using exclusively since spring of this year.
